Years ago I was given an unexposed roll of Kodacolor II film that had expired in 1977. It had belonged to my grandfather, and had not been stored under ideal conditions.

So I threw it in the trash, like a normal person.

Kidding! I shot the roll in my Holga 120N in January 2011. The results were fairly wonky, and needed serious massaging in post. A few weren't bad for being shot on 34 years expired color film. # # #
An opened box of Kodacolor II film. The expiration date stamped on the side says December 1977. This roll was found among things that I was given after my grandfather died. The package has been opened but the film was unexposed.
Workers and construction equipment onsite for a new building. The colors are close to normal after significant editing to restore the image, but there's bar of green discoloration along the bottom of the dirt pile they're standing on.

There are also noticeable vertical "waves" extending across the photo.

Zum # gibt diese Woche nochmals eine alte Zeichnung aus 2016

Diesmal etwas das zu meinem aktuellen Müdigkeitslevel passt.

My first (and so far only) pair of socks from handspun yarn, made 12 years ago.

The yarn was great fun to spin, it came out as a heavy fingering weight, fiber a mix of BFL and nylon. But it didn't stand up the test of time - maybe not enough twist or whatever.

Didn't encourage me to try again with handspun yarn for socks. But they were very comfortable as long as they lasted.

A pair of feet wearing a pair of handknit socks. The yarn is in shades of green. Socks are done in a lace pattern.

The feet are on a background of grey stone tile, soles facing each other.

There was a "For Sale" sign nearby. Change was clearly coming (March 2019). A fitness training center now stands on this spot. I really preferred the barn. 🤷‍♂️

Shot on expired (1994) CVS 100 color film using a Minolta X-570. Tweaked for view-ability in post. # # #
An old, orange GMC truck is parked on the grass in front of an abandoned barn. The red paint on the barn is peeling, and some boards are missing.

The image is grainy and the colors are a bit faded due to the extreme expired character of the film. I've fixed the white balance and improved contrast to make the picture a little cleaner to see.

This is me in performance at Nuit Blanc in Toronto, 2012. I miss dancing. I can’t do it anymore without it triggering my SI joint, so I had to retire a few years ago. # # #
I kneel on the floor with arms extended, palms to the ceiling. I’m wearing a beaded black dance bra and a black and red velvet skirt with long thigh slits. My hair is a black and red fauxhawk.

Bekka with a vacuum we serendipitously found in the woods (January 2012). I titled it "Nature abhors a vacuum," because that was the only possible name to give it.

Taken with a Bronica SQ. # #
A girl with pink hair and a black dress is holding an upright vacuum cleaner and its nozzle in her opposite hand, as though she's preparing to clean up the woods where she's standing.

I moved with the boat while taking the shot - 1 out of 6 😀

In the evening a junk - an ancient chinese boat nowadays made for tourist cruises... - is crossing the channel between Tsim Sha Tsui and Hong Kong Island. Her sails are bright red and illuminated while the rest of the boat is mainly black and contrasts against the water with some colourful reflexions. In the background there is the illuminated skyline of Hong Kong Island, and while the boat is sharp the background not - because I moved the camera with the boat while taking the shot <img class=" title="In the evening a junk - an ancient chinese boat nowadays made for tourist cruises... - is crossing the channel between Tsim Sha Tsui and Hong Kong Island. One of my early works. A cityscape of Ulm, Germany. Watercolor and colored pencil. Created 20+ years ago, a gift for my husband. Inspired by our travels together, painted with a love of # # and this beautiful city.

A little over a year ago, we premiered our first animated short "Trial by Fire" at the Georgia Film Festival.

To our amazement, we won Best Georgia Short! Now, you can watch it for free on YouTube!

For # I thought I'd share some concept art from the very first iteration of the virtual pet game. It had classes like explorer, merchant, magician and all these different animals you could pick. Was a very fun project to work on but we all had different visions for what the game was meant to be so it ultimately went nowhere in the end.

A regal looking tiger with Roman style emperor clothing.
A magician sloth with a hat, wand, and cape. An explorer meerkat pointing onwards with a compass and map. A bard raccoon with a lute and feathered cap.
A royal peacock with a crown and speckled red velvet cloak. A scientist rabbit with a chalkboard and some sort of flask of liquid. A mechanic monkey with goggles and various tools tied to his tail.
A thief crocodile with a bag full of coin that's split open. A magician kangaroo with a vest, bow tie, pointed cap, who is flying playing cards above their head. A merchant snake who curls around a merchant cart, holding a single coin in their tail.

Throwback to these Koroks I sculpted back in December for my boyfriend's birthday 🍁 One of my favorite projects ever!

A brown Korok with a mask shaped like a maple leaf
A grey and green sculpture of a Korok from Breath of the Wild (little creature with a leaf mask and a branch in its hand)

A bit of a # / #. Dug out the oldest piece of abstract work of mine I could find (2006)... and a comparision against my most recent.
3D abstract illustration with a twisted form and purple volumetric lights. From 2006 and looking dated.
3D abstract illustration showing silvery metalic towers raising above a cloud. Also features a glowing blue grid, some luminous orbs and effects. Uses an orthographic perspective.
