Hey there Mastodonians, I'd like to pick your brains about this piece I'm working on at the moment.

I'm at the stage where I'm letting it sit for a bit to see where and how I can improve on it.

I'd love to hear your thoughts, about the piece overall and in detail about how I can make it better!

Some work in a show in Newark and my pins. @Curator # # # # # #
Three paintings with oil, scratchboard and gold leaf. The first a city springing from a skull in the desert, the second a city springing from a weeping woman's head half riding from the ocean, third a city springing from the back of a huddled woman in a field of grass. A hand from the sky cuts a red ribbon winding around the city.
Four pins based on the skull and woman city paintings leaning against a black cat. Two other pins are a black cat bomb, and a tenement with chicken legs like the home of Baba Yaga

a weird thing I painted a while ago

A black canine-like creature with no eyes and pointed ears stands upright and slightly angles its head upwards with its shoulders slumped. its head has a pronounced curve along the top. It has a line splitting the top and bottom half of its head, like a mouth that goes all the way through, and it is leaking gold from that & its nostrils. The bottom half of the picture is it wading through green mist. In the background is a ring made of what looks to be ribbons of water with ocean mist erupting from some of them. at the right-side end of the ring, it is a larger wave-like shape, splashing into the creature's chest.
