my homemade sculpey # Rishi, he is a long-time comfort character of mine. it is nice to have a tiny version of him.
Rishi is a Bhoomian, a humanoid from my galaxy that has a symbiotic relationship with algae. it makes their keratin turn greenish.
Rishi runs a cafe, but he enjoys dancing in his free time.

A little update on the baby elephant I'm modeling using the free SDF Prototyper Blender add-on…

Added a few non-SDF elements: the tusks and ears, because the current version of SDF Prototyper doesn't really allow creation of such shapes yet.

Next steps: mesh the SDF object, join with the non-SDF objects, then remesh in Sculpt Mode, and add some minor refinements.

Making a first model using the free SDF Prototyper (V2) add-on for Blender.

The add-on uses Geometry Nodes, and since the UI is a bit quirky, I find it easier to change parameters and connect nodes directly in Geo Nodes.

More updates will follow in this thread.

A figurine with a robotic body and green organic head. It's got a transparent helmet and is holding aloft a two pronged spear.
A close up of the face with helmet and clamplike hands. It has large nostrils prominent teeth and dark green lips.
A close up of the face without the helmet. You can see it's grimacing face and little black pompadour haircut.
A rear view of the model with it's two shiny metallic gas canisters. You can also see it's thing tube like legs.

I made a Snail Biker! So I had to do a garden based photoshoot. Sculpey some wire and acrylic paint. # # # # # #

I am God Damned Determined to de-lumpify #

I am at a point where I need a plaster on my index finger 'cause the friction I wearing holed in my skin.

I don't think it will be possibly to entirely smooth him out, but he is getting better the more welly I put into it.

It's hard to show progress for this in a photo, but if you compare the photos from behind, one looks noticeably more smooth than the other. # # # # #

I usually post photography, but years ago I made an # for a regional # event called #. I stretched the usual pony theme to be a #, gathered # along the # to make it, and the finished piece was 12’ tall (3.7m), 15’ (4.5m) on the wood pile. You can see friends and me (long hair, black outfit, open back) light the "pony."

I modelled an organic lootbug figurine, hope you like it. If you have not yet tried Deep Rock Galactic, I couldn't recommend it more!!!

There is a little figurine of a lootbug standing on a hand. It is a wild creature from Hoxxes that eats minerals. It looks like a really chubby caterpillar, or maybe arachnid, for it has eight legs. It is beige coloured, with dark legs and four light blue eyes.

My introduction post has inexplicably disappeared, so here is another, @Curator

My work often explores how tradition translates into our dynamic modern world. I created hypercomics during the days of the Jurassic Internet, and hand-painted QR codes that point to 100-year-old films of dying elephants. My first love is painting, but I also sculpt and write. Attached to my first intro were these sketches of the concept of #.

Hi! Hmmmm I think there's # , and # is a good one that has lots of use. The Pottery tag will find you people who work with # , there's also # (but that can include 3D art). Best to click the hashtags and see who's posting to them for people to follow ^.^

# , # , #, # and # ^.^ If you search for a word in the 'search' box it'll show you matching hashtag results, as well as how often they're used in a week ^.^
