Pixelfed upcoming supported formats by driver
 
If I click “Photography”, your website tells me that Pixelfed is the “best” platform for sharing photos on the Fediverse. It also suggests that it’s the *only* one, because nothing else is suggested.

But when I visit the # hashtag I can see a beautiful and unending stream of amazing photos from people using all kinds of federated platforms.

I’m sure you didn’t mean to direct all focus on Pixelfed through this tool, but wanted to point out that’s what’s happening currently.

I really like Darktable for editing my photos—once I learned how to use it (steep learning curve.)

One trick I picked up recently is with the "denoise" module. On its own, it's a bit like killing a fly with a shotgun—even a little bit tends to make the image unusably blobby. But if you select the "wavelets: chroma only" option from the hamburger menu on the right, it actually does a fantastic job most of the time
