An Inkle weaving diagram and warping pattern in the color sequence listed in the text description: The warping pattern is a line of colored boxes with small dots above every other one, above which it states: "Warping Pattern: Each square represents one thread. The squares with dots go through heddles, the squares without dots do not." The weaving diagram is a series of tessellated lozenge shaped tiles illustrating how the pattern will appear when woven.

In 2023 I started teaching myself Clip Studio Paint as I began experimenting with an alternative to working exclusively with vector drawing. The process is much less demanding and intensive than my vector art workflow and produces a much more innate style.

This one was made between July and November 2024. I'm still not sure if it's done but I might get it printed up and have some fun hand finishing it.

White organic shaped lines and flowing forms on black background forming a circular ornamental mandalic pattern emanating outwards. The overall shape might resemble an intricately detailed heraldic shield.

UPDATE.
Half the orange fabric is printed! It's going well. This is day three. There are 8 more colours to go... its a good thing I gave myself a year to complete this project. # # # # # #
Orange fabric machine embroidered with a pattern designed by me.

An almost foam-like structure that resembles a planet, created with the pattern generator.

For this pattern, I used the 'closest to center' algorithm, incorporating a small amount of random placement. By using these hexagon rings, allowing for overlap and transparency on a round canvas, this wonderful result emerges.

On monday, I was painting a bird. On tuesday, for whatever reason, I felt intrigued by patterns. So I figured out a workflow that suits me, and experimented a bit. After 10 or so geometric patterns I decided to explore hand-drawn, more organic patterns. Here are the ones I've done so far. # # # # #

"will it tile?" serie
i think that process is not yet good enough: alignment of shapes for instance is only considering the 2 edges around the current one, not the overall shape...
