A study that I managed to squeeze into some empty moments the last couple of days: two eurasian magpies. Based of a photograph. The purpose of this study was to draw these high contrast creatures in dim lighting, because I wanted to practice to paint 3-dimensional objects without relying on strong shadows. The other purpose was to create color variety in apparently single colored surfaces. I've used a simple round brush with pressure opacity.

All right @Curator This one is for you! Your robot challenge was the perfect excuse to draw a cool robot 😄 I challenged myself to do the entire design digitally, which I normally despise, because I feel I'm more creative when working on paper. I am pretty satisfied, this was fun!

A portrait drawing as an exercise. Depicted is Wim Hof also known as 'The Iceman'. He's been quite an inspiration to me; he's a complicated and fascinating figure who continuously has pushed himself to the extreme to show what a human being is capable of. His techniques and knowledge have been very beneficial to a lot people including myself.

Made entirely with Texture Impressionism Wet-Pattern brush from Ramon.
That brush makes it so easy to just dump ideas on the canvas. I don't need to think much about anything, I can just paint it and see what comes out of it. This time I noticed how pretty the red is so I used more of it to make a hill full of pinkish red flowers.
