I tend to always drift to monochrome or muted colours in my work, so was happy to find these bright coloured cubic zirconias in my stash of old stones. Setting them into different plain silver bands, which colour would you choose- or use all of them at once?

They're now on Etsy waiting to be sent to someone awsome. Know anyone who might enjoy handmade joy and blue wonder?

I choose my materials carefully. Before I dared to make # out of #, I wanted to know how robust it is and whether it might rub off the colour. I soaked it in sugared café au lait for 1 hour. It survived. I washed out the coffee, and it survived. So this jewellery can get in the rain without any problems! And of course, I drink my coffee without #.😂

After some misguided purchases, broken fingernails, and disappointing outcomes, I have finally built a new # light box to accommodate the earring model. It’s been an interesting project.

Materials used: foamcore board, 3D printed connectors and light fittings, and LED strips.
