#Introductions: Hi. We're Tehiverse, or Jacques van Schalkwyk, a 45 year old blind musician from Welbekend South Africa. I have been diagnosed BPD/OSDD, that's Borderline Personality Disorder and Other Specified Dissociative disorder in November 2020, a month after my 43rd birthday. We work as a database administrator/CV Searcher for columbus Consulting. Weekend pass times: Playing music using either our Yamaha Tyros4 keyboard or KompleteKontrolA49USB midi controller, programming and gaming.

As I mentioned, I draw my community sometimes, the first image is one example. I think I have done a lot of art for community so I just picked the most recent one.

The rest are previous art I posted on my old instance.

I am hoping to post some more while I try to improve.

I use the free software #Krita and a small #Huion tablet. I draw on my PC.

I think that's a most of myself because I don't know how to describe myself any further lol.

The thing about that is it feels like a lot of people are like "oh yeah, "someone" should do that, and like... that's part of the beauty of this setup. that "someone" is *all* of us. we should all of us (who arre inclined to do so) be watching #introductions and stepping up to help the newbies. Not everyone has the temperament for that kinda interaction. That's fine.

Some of us should be trying to build better sources for instances to join, beyond the main gigantic one.

Try entering keywords of topics of interest (like writing, history, etc.) into the Search box and clicking the hashtag results it shows to see who's talking about them. It's also customary here to make an #Introductions post (including that hashtag) introducing yourself and including a few hashtags of things you enjoy, then pinning it to your profile, so people can find you based on your interests :D

You should hashtag all of those keywords :D Hashtags are visible across servers, and people use them to find new people to follow by interest. If you try clicking #graphicnovel or #history you'll see results from all of the servers that .art federates with of people using those tags in their toots ^.^

It's also common for people to make an #Introductions post that has a bunch of hashtags of their interests in it, then they pin that to their profile so it's always find-able in searches
