I am James. I have had artists block for over a year. Before that I was teaching myself how to do Pixel Art.

Want to learn from and connect with other pixel artists (and any other flavour of artist!) to try and find a way to start doing art again.

I thought it was a good idea to start a separate account to focus on my crafts so I guess it's # time again 🙃
I'm Sietske, a 42 year old woman from the Netherlands. I'm mostly into fiber crafts like sewing, embroidery and hopefully knitting and crocheting as well soon. I mainly make bags and children's toys, but I have made two dresses as well in the last year.

Have had post covid for about 3 years now, which means I don't make as much as I used to..

Some examples of my work:

The bouquet is round and consists of fabric flowers, 2 shades of dark purple around the edge (pansies and dahlias), then a circle of light purple roses and in the middle is a red gerbera. The corsage has a light purple rose again, a bit of green leafage and a red nondescript flower made from organza.

I'm going to be updating my page with my older pieces because I've been inactive for a while.
I'm still Gabriel, your resident baroque-inspired illustrator painting OCs, fanart, and love stories. 🥀
These are two of my favourite pieces from last year with my dearest Ludovic and his love, Astolfo (courtesy of VenenumTea who has since given him to me).

On a crude formation of rocks, darkening clouds over their heads, Astolfo is lying on the lap of Ludovic, covered only by a white cloth on his groin, making the marks of the Three Fingers visible throughout his body, the marks that he obtained the power to burn down the whole world. His eyes are closed, and he lies limp as if he were dead. Ludovic holds him in his lap, holding his face and hand, grieving for his lover and what he understands as his betrayal, to have his allegiances with the Frenzied Flame, which a fiery glory around Astolfo's head emphasises. Faded Erdleaf flowers surround them - Erdleaf flowers are attributes of Ludovic, and their fading shows his sorrow.
My Tarnished OC Ludovic in his guilty attire surrounded by reddish clouds looks towards the midst of them to see a small golden silhouette pierced by a red lance, the image of Marika imprisoned in the Erdtree. His eyes and hands indicate his surrender and search for guidance. Behind him, on a rock, is an Erdleaf flower and petals, an attribute of Ludovic.

# Hello, I am a C++ dev, going to join a new company working in a graphic designing desktop application using #. Never used it before, watched halfway through # opengl series but not sure if it is the right path. Any hint where I can master # and # in general? Especially not as a # but as an application developer. I can't wrap my head around VAOs, VBOs, shaders, projection matrices. I understand how to use them but I can't build the intuition. And also, how do I display in # and manipulate objects? So far, I have displayed a 2D rainbow triangle but nothing more. Any help is appreciated.
