Pencil sketch of memories of my grandfather.

It's time to ink. As usual I'm anxious about it. What to make black, what to leave white? Ink is unforgiving.

Pencil sketch of a page full of memories of my grandfather. There's a house sparrow as his garden was always full of them, a laundry line, a hedge and Portugese tiles on the floor. There's a rake he used in his allotment and chicory he grew as well as green beans of which the winding plant ties together the loose elements of my memories on this page that further contains a broken table for which I and my brother were responsible and a UFO-shaped sixties lamp they had on the ceiling. Oh, and let's not foget the cigar and the push-button toilet flusher and the heavy, heavy bone glasses he wore and that would alwasy slide down his nose.
