This one is about my dad. Towards the end and within dementia the sweeping became a grounding purpose. At home and then at the Home, I would hand him a broom and he would set to. In the garden now he hands it on to me. ♥️

A black and white sketchy ink drawing of a long handled broom emerging from a fog of black. There are a dozen or more leaves on the ground before the broom. The words at the bottom of the picture say ‘He is forever sweeping leaves’

This photo shows a poppy with just two bright red and dark purple petals left.
The petals are hanging down ready to fall of at any moment.
It looks almost like the poppy has a bright dress like a ballerina dancing around.
My imagination, sorry <img class=" title="This photo shows a poppy with just two bright red and dark purple petals left.

I'm a lousy photographer with a crappy phone, but I have a # of # in full bloom, take about a million pictures a day, and so some do eventually turn out nice...

18th May 2023, in the morning.

Hidden gem (the entrance is in a rural subdivision and very badly indicated). One hectare downhill with lots of wood carvings. We were alone.

Don't hesitate to share and please look at the three other parts of the thread. (14 pictures)

We had a pretty bad # here in Montreal recently - a huge chunk of the city lost power. We were lucky, and only lost power for 44, and had a generator to keep our snakes warm and our fridge/freezer cold - but despite all of the damage and frustration - I managed to get some pretty good # # s of # on some of the # # that were just about to open up in my #

The largest # I’ve spotted this summer… and what a beauty!

This is growing proudly in the # # - there was a load of interest in this with people gazing, photographing and discussing its size, colours and splendour.

It had plenty of # activity too which was cool.

# at its best.

🙏💖

"Becoming / Quietly"

Are you growing, or dying? Can you still tell the difference? Are you sure there is one?

Morning! Been busy with work leading up to month end and I’ve really missed it on here. It’s so refreshing to read about so many different interests (and civilised conversations in the comments) that I can spend wayyyy too long on here, while the work piles up, so gave myself a ban 😆

For the last day of November, I’m sharing a photo of my favourite rose from early autumn. She’s been in the garden 15 years+ and always glows ❤️🌹 # # # # # #
A coral rose is lit up by the autumn sunshine, its petals holding on to a dewy spiders web. A blurry green of the garden is the background.

“My ghost is the only soul who ever comes to cry on my grave... Only the skies cried sincerely on my funeral.” Simona Panova, Nightmarish Sacrifice.

I have tried to emphasize the light and the calm atmosphere of an abandoned cemetery but with a reflection of life that visits it often.

In 2020, in deep Corona retreat, I built myself a small hut in my garden from donated and collected materials. Since then, it has served me as a studio for painting and writing in the summer. My plan was to devote myself only to my art. I gave up my work as a graphic designer for it. # # # #

View of my studio hut in my wild nature garden amidst roses, herbs and trees.

It was built from wood and branches, old windows, raw wool and many, many screws.

Working in my garden lately has given me something to look forward to through all of this.

Do you garden? What's your favorite thing to grow or eat?
