We had a pretty bad #icestorm here in Montreal recently - a huge chunk of the city lost power. We were lucky, and only lost power for 44, and had a generator to keep our snakes warm and our fridge/freezer cold - but despite all of the damage and frustration - I managed to get some pretty good #macro #photo s of #ice on some of the #crocus #flowers that were just about to open up in my #garden

The largest #bougainvillea I’ve spotted this summer… and what a beauty!

This is growing proudly in the #melbourne #botanicgarden - there was a load of interest in this with people gazing, photographing and discussing its size, colours and splendour.

It had plenty of #bee activity too which was cool.
