Started playing with linocut recently and I love it. The only color I have for now is this very pretty turquoise. 16x16cm lino print
Je me suis mis à la linogravure récemment, et c'est vraiment cool ! Je n'ai que du turquoise pour l'instant et j'adore cette couleur. Impression lino 16x16cm
Just a doodle I did a few years ago, the original has gone but I still have a photo of it because I like the colour and can’t quite remember how I made it (it was probably whatever was left on the palette mixed together 😅)
I love carnations and how they turn from spiral into circle. Of course I made a sweet little lino of one. It’s 24x16cm, on Japanese paper, hand pressed.

#Poppy #Flowers #Garden #Photography #Mohn #Blumen #Garten #Pflanzen " title="This photo shows a poppy with just two bright red and dark purple petals left. The petals are hanging down ready to fall of at any moment. It looks almost like the poppy has a bright dress like a ballerina dancing around. My imagination, sorry ">
Viper's bugloss, echium vulgare. The plant can cause irritation to humans by brushing up against it. It is toxic to cattle however young shoots are edible when picked small and green. Large amounts can cause liver damage though. It can be a medicinal plant. Being used as an infusion to treat fevers and chest conditions.
The woodland/forest series of art illustrations will only be available until the evening of Friday 23rd June!
There are around 40 pieces in this series so if you've seen anything you like or would like to see the whole range, you can find them all on my website (including all the details) here…
I've been having fun making images using this new "superblack" backdrop I received recently. This photo was taken outdoors in my garden.
This is the Coral Honeysuckle (***Lonicera sempervirens).***
I'm making this photo public domain for artists (or anyone, for that matter) to use for their work. I'll be releasing more images over the next few weeks.
I'm a lousy photographer with a crappy phone, but I have a #garden of #roses in full bloom, take about a million pictures a day, and so some do eventually turn out nice... #photography #flowers
An older piece which ended up being partly inspired by a friend who lost their partner much too soon.. #Axolotl for regeneration and healing, #ivy for love and fidelity, and marigold #flowers for grief and remembrance of the dead. #ink and #watercolour on paper.
Grayscale is really fun for flowers because you get to see delicate structures that might otherwise get obliterated by their bright colors. Peony petal with dew, cellphone #macrophotography
I've got art in shopping carts, it doesn't always mean I'll get a sale, but I am so hopeful, could use money to help me with house painting that's going on at the moment. I've got all my fingers crossed, but it's hard to draw like that😄 Original watercolour painting - Agapanthus flowers https://etsy.me/3zTIZPk via @Etsy #painting #flowers #watercolour #FediGiftShop #ScottishArtist #MastoArt #CreativeToots
We had a pretty bad #icestorm here in Montreal recently - a huge chunk of the city lost power. We were lucky, and only lost power for 44, and had a generator to keep our snakes warm and our fridge/freezer cold - but despite all of the damage and frustration - I managed to get some pretty good #macro #photo s of #ice on some of the #crocus #flowers that were just about to open up in my #garden
