Hi guys, I seriously need to clean up a mess I made on fediverse. I blocked few troll servers who stormed my post and now I wait for worker to purge it.

Yet, I have 90k tasks in line to do and it seems like deleting these is last thing for my worker.

Is there a way to force the purge? Urgent help needed please!Friendica Support

As a part of this socially-asocial # network I would like to talk to you on the other side of the ocean.

I rarely write posts in # and I only have very few followers that are not # or #, so I'm not sure if this ever reaches my target audience of this post - the # citizens.

I am seriously concerned about what is happening lately with your country, who was supposed to be (or was acting like) a # beacon. Yet, somehow you managed to reach the point, where #, who most of you (!) elected is felon, who pardons criminals and does pretty rude political statements to country, who is losing lives of it's citizens only because they have chosen the path of being a # nation.

As a person from central # I must admit this is seriously hard to watch as I expected your society to be # and # friendly and yet I see your president fueling # from # and bullying president of #.

I do not think this is a great way to # - this is a way to lose it. I'm hell-of-a-sure that befriending pretty much dictator of # while his propagandists talks about nuking Washington is not a good idea, but somehow your president believes it is.

Please reconsider and act, this is not funny and people are dying. Your voices need to be heard or somehow you might find out you live in country you never imagined...

Based on the screen shots and little English in your comment @Paula Gentle on Friendica I suspect this observation is a different issue based on a User account that can be easily viewed by anyone on the 'verse being updated via the contents of a Feed, rather than a "contact" of a user being an RSS feed that is more-or-less only viewable by the Friendica user that subscribed to the feed.

As an # I don't know any other languague than # since our # system believes that doing so would show weakness to the world economy.

👉 Maison espagnole (1) [grand format]
  • Rare exemple de maison de tradition espagnole à Mons ! la Maison espagnole remonte aux XVIe et XVIIe siècles, mais elle fut fortement restaurée au début du XXe siècle. Alors que le rez-de-chaussée compte deux baies du XVIe siècle, le premier étage et l’étage supérieur s’ouvrent sur plusieurs petites ouvertures de tailles différentes du siècle suivant. Une construction en briques y a été adjointe au XVIIe siècle. Restauré au XIXe siècle, la Maison espagnole fut rétablie par la suite dans son état primitif.
  • Zeldzaam voorbeeld van een huis in Bergen in traditionele Spaanse stijl ! Het Spaanse Huis dateert uit de 16e en 17e eeuw, maar werd aan het begin van de 20e eeuw gerenoveerd. Alhoewel de gelijkvloers twee ramen uit de 16e eeuw heeft, hebben de eerste verdieping en de bovenste verdieping verschillende openingen uit de volgende eeuw. Een stenen constructie werd in de 17e eeuw toegevoegd. Het Spaanse Huis werd in de 19e eeuw gerenoveerd, maar werd dan in zijn oorspronkelijke staat hersteld.

Although the ground floor has got two windows of the 16th century, the first floor and upper floor have got many different openings dating from the next century. A stone construction was added in the 17th century. Renovated in the 19th century, the Spanish House was then restored to its original state.

Can the verb "to swim" be used as a metaphor for struggling/not making progress with something? Or would that only work with a more specific phrasing like "treading water"?
