learn first to move from one SMALL project to an other, don't aim to draw thé full series of One Piece from your first days, you do not need that to improve your art.

Initially, I conceived to depict a place remote from people, but something connected with them. The idea of a sacred/honorable place came to mind. in the end, a forest with a frozen lake appeared in the illustration. there was an altar on the island. To give an accent to the altar, I decided to add bushes with a red-burgundy color around the perimeter. For dynamics, the weather helped me - wind with snow + long fabric on the arch itself
Doing a little analysis on digital watercolour. I tried Rebelle 4 and Expresii today. I love the fluid simulations in both programs for the watercolour. Expresii feels very expressive and I can control tilt with the right mouse button which is cool since my tablet doesn't have tilt, but Rebelle's watercolours are also very nice to use and allow more western style type of painting I guess. #digital #painting #watercolour
