The Leeds comicbook shop 'OK Comics' got in touch with me recently & asked to buy a load of Jacques books wholesale (not sale or return!).

It made me so grateful, that I hand drew 30 bookmarks to give away with each copy.

Please go support them (and me) and order a book.

It's a tough time for comic shops everywhere, so please do support OK Comics or any small independent shop in your area.

Illustration in a sorta anime emo sketchy style of two characters looking at each other. The first one is Gabriel, a guy with something monstrous, evil looking and wolf-like coming out of his head, has two horns and a beast arm (still wearing jeans because he's decent). He's looking kinda menacingly to the other character, but at the same time he's holding his hand up with care. The second character is the Prince, he is slightly shorter and Very Emo looking, has dragon scales on his clothes, and is looking to Gabriel kind of annoyed while walking back a little intimidated.

Always surprised how challenging it is to “go simple” when I style my comics. This is my latest attempt—for example, by going with a limited colour palette, and a minimalist composition. I’m sure I could take this even further, but it’s so hard! # # # # #
Panel one of four of a cartoon drawn in a vintage style with minimal detail. A character has stumbled upon a perfect yellow cube on the floor with a question mark printed on one side.
Panel two of four of the same cartoon. The character is now on his hands and knees next to the cube. The speech bubble reads, “Is this a mystery?”
Panel three of four of the same cartoon. The character returns to a standing position and is gazing upwards in deep reflection. The speech bubble reads, “Maybe it is. Maybe it isn't. I can’t tell.”
Final panel of the same cartoon. A second character enters the frame. Both characters are glancing inquisitively at the box. The speech bubble above the second character reads, “Maybe you should open it.”

Since I'm preparing to get back into Ara & Celi stuff, AND I HOPE NOTHING INTERFERES...here's art from 2012!

I did this for an Anime Iowa art showcase, iirc. I swore off the con after my first and only booth but I entered this. Most of the prizes ended up going to one person 🤣

Still love this tho. Miyara mid-transformation into Eternal Ara!

Color picture. A young girl appears determined and confident as her body's transforming from school girl into her magical girl form. There are no naked parts to her transformation. Her clothes shift from one spectrum to the other.

Magical symbols are also appearing on her hands and face, as a sword is also slowly forming in her hand.

The background bursts into blue, yellow, yellow green and green-ish colors, symbolizing her transformation.

- Quick Temp Intro Post -

Hello! I am Feff, I live a double life as a Data Scientist and Comic Creator.

I make urban fantasy comics about mixed raced ladies. More often, I paint in digital and traditional watercolours and keep inching my stuff further towards graphic abstraction (somehow). I love texture!

Pronouns: She/They

# # #
Ink and watercolour portrait (postcard sized) of a brown-eyed girl looking upwards. Her hair is a mix of yellow and orange, wet-in-wet, that falls over her shoulders and becomes the background.
Ink and watercolour illustration of a black-haired modern witch in a pleather jacket, mini-skirt, and calf-length boots. She casts purple magic, and behind her is a burst of red reminiscent of blood.
A black and white digital comic page. In the first two panels, a girl closes a door, causing a wind charm being used as a doorbell to tinkle. The third and latest panel is an establishing shot of the girl in an alt-fashion and merchandise store.
A digital portrait of a wistful woman, using lots of pinks, purples, and blues. Screentone and textured bubble brushes have been used to introduce dream-like texture to the piece

A little tribute to this tootin' platform! :)

Single panel web comic in muted teal colour tones. Two people in the background are playing some form of racket ball. In the middle-ground is a sign that reads, "Pickle Ball Tournament." In the foreground are two characters dressed in full-size pickle costumes holding rackets. A dog sits idly staring up at them.

🔥 New RELATABLE GHOST comic! 🍵

Sometimes I get stuck on words and they lead me to abstract concepts in my mind… especially when I‘m trying to focus on something that needs my concentration.

Anything that makes you zone out so randomly?

# # # # # # # #
It‘s a two panel comic in greyscale. The comic shows two situations from the life of a character that looks like a simple-shaped ghost. In the left panel the ghost is concentrating hard on not spilling the tea while pouring themself a mug. Their thoughts revolve around "Do not spill…". In the right panel the thoughts wander off, rhyming the word "spill" until they end up asking themselves if fish liked tea. While wondering about fish, they lost focus on the tea and the liquid is overflowing the mug. They are spilling the tea.

This grumpy, handsome fellow is Markos the Prophet from my comic, the Sparrow. He has to listen to the gods talking to him a lot, so no wonder he's so grumpy.
