Making a first model using the free SDF Prototyper (V2) add-on for Blender.

The add-on uses Geometry Nodes, and since the UI is a bit quirky, I find it easier to change parameters and connect nodes directly in Geo Nodes.

More updates will follow in this thread.

# really seems way better for visual # than #.

I don't get why so many artists still choose Mastodon. I realize the mobile options for Pixelfed are limited, but there really is no contest between the two Web interfaces.

Poster for the Warning Signs exhibition by Alan Lennon, which runs from the 8th to the 11th September 2023 at the Outline Gallery, 5 Lochrin Place, Edinburgh, EH3 9QX.

From Alan - EXHIBITION NEWS
I’ve been working this year on a new challenging project called WARNING SIGNS which tests my skills as designer, painter and writer. This body of work is an artist’s attempt to say something of importance and create a thought-provoking snapshot of our turbulent times with a combination of cautionary verse and iconic imagery. It is my contribution to the genre of Protest Art, where the power of the image and words can hope to influence positive change.

@welshpixie@mastodon.art Hey, I don't browse your server enough, but I was curious. Do you do themed days/weeks over there? I would kill for some good ## and ## to follow like @NumenSkog@mastodon.art !

Just saw that # has had three articles about how they mistreat their sellers in as many days. As an independent # myself, I've been struggling to find purchase (and purchasers) on the platform, which is why I started building # - a # Etsy-alternative. These articles just go to show how much we need a new space that helps # rather than uses them. Please # this to help us spread the word.
BBC article headline titled "Etsy sellers call for strike after money held". Posted 2 days ago when the screenshot was taken (August third, 2023).
BBC article headline titled "Etsy U-turn in row over withholding seller's money". Posted 19 hours ago when the screenshot was taken (August third, 2023).
BBC article headline titled "Etsy accused of 'destroying' sellers by withholding money". Posted 3 days ago when the screenshot was taken (August third, 2023).

Are there any other # here who has struggled with having a #? Even as far back as high school # class, I had a really hard time with doing loose # and being too much of a perfectionist with each piece. I’m curious if anyone has found a way to undo the urge to make each piece a finished one. Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

I made joy and blue wonder 🦋🎀🦋
They're now on Etsy waiting to be sent to someone awsome. Know anyone who might enjoy handmade joy and blue wonder?

I'm once again asking for # with open # to help with a # project! This zine is also about the predatory nature of social media, but this time I'm focusing on image distortion / photo filters. Like before, I'd need about 5 outline doodles to accompany text.

Past example:

Doodles can really be anything, but I really like the animal theme, so if anyone is up for creating some cute animal sketches, let me know!

is anyone on my corner of the fediverse a fan of or themselves a # (# # # # # # etc-anything, really)? if so, please connect with me!

i know it's gauche to ask for boosts on the fediverse, and normally I never do. but every time I search for # on my own instance I get NOTHING, and I don't want to have to make a half dozen accounts on other instances to find other creators either. if I could just establish a network of fellow # (preferably #, but #, #, # etc are fine also) here on my home account, that would be wonderful.

maybe I could even find some creators to say hello to at # # in three weeks 😁

I've put the Baldur's Gate # under the # last night; I think I actually like the results from photographing it with my phone better. The # # makes it look rather pale, and some of the brush strokes seem to stand out more?
It can probably be improved quite a bit in post-processing, but I was hoping for better results straight out of the box.
(I also need to do manual cropping, as it doesn't recognise the borders well enough...)

Fellow #, any recommendations when scanning or otherwise # your work?

🧵 Really psyched I was able to carve out some time to work on my independent project this weekend. Got this whole scene background pretty much ready! Now I "just" need to draw and animate the woman in the bathtub (see previous posts in this thread). I have more or less planned it out, it's just a matter of manual labor now. But then, that's often the case with animation...
