Making a first model using the free SDF Prototyper (V2) add-on for Blender.

The add-on uses Geometry Nodes, and since the UI is a bit quirky, I find it easier to change parameters and connect nodes directly in Geo Nodes.

#Pixelfed really seems way better for visual #artists than #Mastodon.

I don't get why so many artists still choose Mastodon. I realize the mobile options for Pixelfed are limited, but there really is no contest between the two Web interfaces.

Just saw that #Etsy has had three articles about how they mistreat their sellers in as many days. As an independent #artist myself, I've been struggling to find purchase (and purchasers) on the platform, which is why I started building #magpiemarket - a #federated Etsy-alternative. These articles just go to show how much we need a new space that helps #artists rather than uses them. Please #boost this to help us spread the word.

Are there any other #artists here who has struggled with having a #sketchbook? Even as far back as high school #art class, I had a really hard time with doing loose #sketches and being too much of a perfectionist with each piece. I’m curious if anyone has found a way to undo the urge to make each piece a finished one. Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

I've put the Baldur's Gate #aquarelle under the #scanner last night; I think I actually like the results from photographing it with my phone better. The #Canon #MG2550S makes it look rather pale, and some of the brush strokes seem to stand out more?
It can probably be improved quite a bit in post-processing, but I was hoping for better results straight out of the box.
(I also need to do manual cropping, as it doesn't recognise the borders well enough...)

Day 5 - #ArtAdventCalendar with more older #TraditionalArt work. 
Today is a #StillLife #OilPainting of plums & a tomato in a wooden bowl. I was just blocking in rough color, and then I realized it looked pretty good. So I added a couple of highlights & signed it. This taught me a huge lesson.
