I'm surprised and relieved at how quickly I got up to speed on #AffinityDesigner and #AffinityPhoto along with resolving the autotrace issue.

One other thing I discovered in my search is just how goddamn many hack-ass, skanky autotrace utilities there are out there. JEEzus, there's so much crap. Inkscape turned out to be the best of the bunch for that.

...but don't even get me started on Vectornator.

If, like me, you're an old Photoshop/Illustrator ninja and Adobe refugee who's digging #AffinityPhoto & #AffinityDesigner but missing "autotrace", then #Inkscape takes care of that.

Mind you, I'm still less than impressed with Inkscape's creative/production environment, but it does autotrace like a boss.

For that reason alone, I keep a copy of it around. I find "Brightness Cutoff" works best for B&W line art...
