Bereits Ende Oktober 2024 hatte ich mich bei Loops.video registriert. Loops, von den Machern von Pixelfed (dansup), soll "DIE Alternative zu TikTok werden" – ein großes Ziel, das man sich gesetzt hat. Ich war gespannt.

Wenn ich mich recht erinnere wurden als ich zu Friendica kam Youtube Videos inline, sprich im Beitragstext eingebettet dargestellt. Doch das scheint schon eine Weile vorbei zu sein, oder ich habe was falsch eingestellt. Bei mir sieht das z. B. so aus:



Ist das so gewollt? Ich finde es auf jeden Fall weder schön noch komfortabel zu nutzen.

Ich habe das Problem das eingebettete Youtube Videos immer noch gut 30 Sekunden abbrechen. Das ist schon eine Weile so. @Matthias ✔ testet hier auf dem Server zudem eine Erweiterung die es erlaubt Youbube Videos über Invidious einzubinden. Und auch hier habe ich den Effekt das das Video nach gut 30 Sekunden abbricht und wieder zum Anfang springt.

Hat einer von Euch eine Idee wo das Problem liegen könnte? Ob ich es selbst beheben kann oder ob der Betreiber des Servers oder gar die Entwickler ran müssen?

I'm making a short (about 6 mins) video of my emulsion lifts process - there's no audio so I'd like to add background music.

I want it to be legit - I'm an artist, I don't want to steal other people's creative output! But I have no idea where to start - I know there's some that can be used with credit but I don't know where the best sources are?

When i'm about to upload file, i get "bad request". I also did not found the way to upload it into "files section".

Embedding from #youtube also does not work for me.

With life being extra crazy lately, I decided to take yesterday off completely and just practice my instruments for the first time in forever.

I made this! It's really sloppy, it's not a masterpiece of any kind, but it was a lot of fun to make it up as I went.

The phrase "Counting Down The Days" kept running through my head.

It feels good to play music again. Though my left wrist and fingers are in pain this morning lol.
