Another drawing using an Inkvent colour(An advent calendar with little ink bottles each day). The ink is called Nightfall so I obviously thought of Knightfall and Bane! This one is a really dark blue with green glitter.# # # #

YEESH!

This # drawing was a struggle and a half. I just kept messing up the face and proportions. Still, it came out pretty well for a 1.5 hr drawing while my daughter napped. Best I can hope for in the time allowed.

But this drawing in a single word is STRUGGLE

The illustration consists of a bottle with a cork lid, inside the bottle there's a liquid looking cat and a single paw print is visible. On the bottle there's a tag spelling "...enes cattum"

Just a quick portrait sketch in the sketchbook.

My plans was to paint last night, but my back seems like it doesn't agree with those plans.

# # in a carrier. The square styrofoam ink stamp makes an interesting # & forms the cat background of the carrier. I screwed up the perspective on the carrier door --bleh! # # # # # #

I once painted a horse that looked something like this drawing and it was a really bad painting. I wish I kept it so I could share my bad painting but I painted over it. So I tried to do a drawing of what I remembered of the painting but I think I made this drawing too nice. You will just have to believe me I once made a terrible horse painting.

A very fast and loose marker sketch of a brown horse standing still in profile in some grass in a field. The lines are just squiggles. Some squiggly blue for the sky. Some yellow dots for flowers in the field.

Earlier this summer I was lucky enough to go to Bardsey Island off the north west coast of Wales. I'm currently going back in to my sketchbooks from that time, and making new images. I'll be posting some old and new bardsey stuff over the next few days xx

Digital sketch, a waist up of Wyll (character companion from Baldur's Gate 3). Wyll is a black man with his sides shaved and what I think are dreadlocks or cornrows? I can't tell despite the good textures of the game, sorry. But his hair is pretty dark. He's got a shadow of a goatee. He has one brown living eye and a stone one, a very long scars on a side of his face, we can assume from all his battles. In this sketch I portrayed him in his casual clothes from camp and posing kind of shy with a hand on his neck, looking at the camera with an honest smile.
