Official Deadpool movie poster art designed and illustrated by Diana Greenhalgh (with colours by Blond). Created for Twentieth Century Fox for the first Deadpool movie, it features a comic book style illustration of Deadpool sniffing the smoke from his gun barrels. In the background is a crashed black SUV on its side, with bullet holes, broken glass, and a body hanging over the doorframe. The far background is an easter egg: an out-of-focus shot of the highway overpass from the original leaked footage that helped get the movie greenlit.

There are many tiny white French knots covering the fingertips and light blue, gold, and navy French knots on parts of the palm. There are fine filigree lines connecting many of the French knots and white strands of thread strung from each fingertip to an apex above the hand. There is a starburst floating above the palm in white and light blue.
Nave of Vibration (2017) <br /><br />An embroidery of an inner ear done in bone white thread on dark purple linen. The centre of the spiral is labeled “nave of vibration”, the body of the inner ear is labeled “plumes of sound”, and the tubes are labeled “windows open.”
eye poem (2016)<br /><br />An embroidery of the venations of the eye stitched in blues, greens, and purples on bone coloured cloth. In a circle outlining the eye is a poem that can be read starting on any word: behind her blue green eyes were fine lace webs so she could see purple mist opening.
Winter night mitosis sampler (2024)<br /><br />Two reproductive cells dividing embroidered on white linen. The edges of the dividing egg cells and the nucleus membranes are in light grey split stitch. A circle of light purple stem stitch is the cell membrane. The corona radiata is in dark navy zig zag chain stitch. The nucleolus of each cell is in navy bullion stitch. The polar bodies are stitched in burgundy single strand back stitch. The cytoplasm is stitched in variegated blue/purple thread in a mix of seed stitch and French knots. Lia’s initials are stitched in white whipped back stitch.

Nyahk-Nyahk the Lost, a classic illustration of Warren's. Nyahk-Nyahk is a large, muscular adventurer with a cartoonishly smiling skull face. He stands proudly with a large sword balanced atop his shoulder. The skull face has a large horn on one side, and a broken one on the other. He has a cape haphazardly tied around his shoulders and is otherwise bare save for a bright purple pair of gym-style shorts. Floating above and behind him is a blimp of a dragon. Despite the dragon's size, he's not intimidating, so much as he is a big, round orb of dragon with tiny wings and legs that one wouldn't expect would support his chonky size at all for flying or walking. His snoot is very upturned and rounded by peeking teeth. His expression looks unimpressed and bored, perhaps he's thinking about what to have for lunch.
A friendly-faced middle-aged man dressed in a trucker hat and woodsman gear walks a forested path through sunlit autumn wilderness. He glances over his shoulder to check on the young girl who follows close behind him, clad in a flowy, pink dress that has a cheerful ribbon at the waist and bulky, loose socks. She is using a short, fallen tree branch as a walking stick.
A somewhat ecclesiastically dressed white rabbit stands in the middle of a bright red cathedral, drenched in shadows and ominous light. A 3D modeled flexed leg, on its own. There's a striped pant and a pointy leather shoe held closed with straps and buckles.
A D paint-over of a medieval house mixing wood, dirt walls and bricks, covered with graffitis, one especially being a gigantic stylized skeletton.
A study from Blade Runner. A grotesque figure, a helmet on his head, an exaggeratedly long nose with a painted red tip, a large moustache and some kind of metal mouth spreader. He wears an Empire-style epaulet jacket covered with decorations. Only the face is really detailed, the rest being made up of large, ill-defined brush strokes.
Engraved schist from the late neolithic (4000 to 3000 BC) displaying a mother-godess. The object has been found in Portugal and share a surprisingly ressemblance with Totoro (which is why it caught my eyes in the first place). The plaque is a rectangle, irregularly rounded on the edges and some cracks are running through it in a few places. There is two eyes that are punched through the surface all the way to the back, raised eybrows, some sort of cat-like moustache, hanging arms and a confused expression. It is sketched using basic black Bic ball-pen and a bit of black gouache to deepen some areas.

First time contributing to # so I decided to share a sample from the style of photographs that I do.
They are mostly focused on still-life ranging from simple to more conceptual compositions, but I do sprinkle here and there some landscape image taken with the moving-camera technique (what I call Mobingscapes).
This image shows the recreation of a hand-fan design made by Japanese artist Ogata Korin. The subjects are the Japanese autumn grasses, including chrysanthemums. The subject is recreated using origami technique and white tissue paper; surrounded by a black and gold composition also executed on paper.
Still life photograph done in the chiaroscuro-Dutch style of fresh lemons (whole, peeled and sliced), a dried peony flower set in a small copper vase, with a dark background and focused lighting on the lemons.
This photograph shows a kleenex tissue bunched up to create architectonical shapes. The mood of the photo is very soft with colors ranging from a pale salmon to a dusty blue.
Photograph created with the moving camera technique of the Eiffel tower landscape with the Seine and a bridge to the right. The warm orange tower is depicted against a sky with puffy clouds in soft hues of blue and violet.
