I've recreated the botched restoration of the Ecce Homo that lives in the Santuary of Mercy church in Borja, Spain.<br /><br />I've given it an ornate golden frame, and it sits on a wall with a little informational card below it, as if it's a revered piece of art in a museum.

A tiny batman with his back to us, is in the foreground perched atop a silhouette skyline. Into the distance are large tower blocks with thousands of lit an unlit windows, it's nighttime. There are a few stars in the sky but the biggest light of all is the bat signal shining bright. He has been called once again.

The draconic character I'm slowly drawing for a couple's kissing scene reminded me of humanoid grotesques. I decided to play with the concept while waiting for daylight.

The new character is slightly reflective to be different / more interesting to me.

Today's #pixel_dailies prompt was "antenna", and well it's also #ShrimpSunday, and hey so apparently WE HAVE TREE SHRIMPS NOW. That's right, an expedition in Indonesia discovered tiny shrimps that live in trees, far from shore. So here's one of them looking regal AF in a lush tree.

A pixel art illustration of a volcano snail, a type of snail that lives around vents on sea floors where volcanic activity releases thermally charged water. It looks like what you'd expect from a volcano snail, a long thin reddish mass with outstretched antennae stretching out from under a dark rocky shell connected to a stretch of almost skirt-like shell that covers its underside from which the snail propells itself, the same reddish mass poking out in little undulating waves propelling it forward. The illustration is painted with much detail, with brushstroke-like splashes of color giving depth and texture to the snail's shell and body, the red mass being lit by bright purple and shining orange on its contours, and the dark blue-ish shell being lit by deeper purples, reds and oranges.
