Official Deadpool movie poster art designed and illustrated by Diana Greenhalgh (with colours by Blond). Created for Twentieth Century Fox for the first Deadpool movie, it features a comic book style illustration of Deadpool sniffing the smoke from his gun barrels. In the background is a crashed black SUV on its side, with bullet holes, broken glass, and a body hanging over the doorframe. The far background is an easter egg: an out-of-focus shot of the highway overpass from the original leaked footage that helped get the movie greenlit.
Screenshots from Season 1 Episode 3 of DC's Legends Of Tomorrow. The scene is of the villain Vandal Savage writing on a piece of papyrus scroll with a reed stylus, in hieroglyphs. The scroll prop was created by Diana Greenhalgh for the show. It even translates!
A quartet of full colour sketch cards featuring Marvel characters, arranged 2 by 2. Top left is X-Men's Magik coming up out of a hell portal with sword in hand and fist clenched. Top right is X-Men's Blink getting ready to throw daggers. Bottom left is Dagger coming out of Cloak's shadowy depths, throwing light daggers. Bottom right is Captain Marvel floating in space with stars behind her.
A sketch cover commission from a past convention that I particularly liked. It's of Marvel's Spider-Gwen on a sketch cover blank of the same title. Done in ink and Copic markers, the character is crouching on a background made of spiderwebs. The hooded and masked costume is white and black, with pink and teal webbed accents.

Making a first model using the free SDF Prototyper (V2) add-on for Blender.

The add-on uses Geometry Nodes, and since the UI is a bit quirky, I find it easier to change parameters and connect nodes directly in Geo Nodes.

More updates will follow in this thread.

Ink illustrations I made from specimens at a zoology laboratory in 2019. I get to do it again in a couple of weeks. I’m a member of the Southern Ontario Nature and Science Illustrators. # # # # # # # # # # #
Skull of hornbill. Cranorrhinus corrugatis. The skull has a large eye socket, a long curving bill, and a bony mass atop the bill. I used crosshatching in the background to make the skull pop from the page.
Some sort of shiny Black Sea urchin. It has no spikes. Instead, it is made of platelets similar to that on the shell of a tortoise. It is round and dined with a bony fringe around its circumference.

I'd like to thank @dansup for creating Pixelfed. As an artist, for 10 years now I was basing my career primarily on IG, only to see it erode to zero reachability and zero discoverability. IG is a career destroyer now. So when I put all my efforts on Pixelfed, suddenly, I saw growth again! 100 new followers in just 3 weeks! Which proportionally to IG's 0 new followers, given the fewer number of users here, it's a big deal! It feels good again to use social media as it's supposed to be: chronologically, and tag-based. Finally, we can see, and discover things! Things are growing! Again, thank you @dansup for this service, it's awesome!

Hello!

One problem with leaving the birdsite is that I had built up a reasonable list of illustrators to follow there, and I really haven't here. But I bet they're around. If you're a # or # or # #, especially if you're interested in commissions from an author, give this post a like so I can check out your work. Or recommend me someone in the comments. Or boost this so more people see it. Or just tell me what good hashtags I should be following.

I'm #, # , # , # and I wanted to share some of my art with you.
I've been drawing since before I could speak, and I'm 53 now! I have a vast amount of work to show, so I decided to just share my four latest pieces, along with my links.

Art is my main form of communication and is really my only way to get through to other people. Some people think because I use a cute vocabulary, my art is just funny -and that's ok, but I hope viewers can see that I'm trying to express something deeper than that.

One of my lifelong projects is # Series, which I started in 2009 and continue to this day, showing my takes on the records that made me who I am. Music is my main inspiration in life!

I've worked as a graphic designer my whole adult life, until the beginning of COVID, when I lost the job I thought I'd have til I "retired": layout designer for my local newspaper. Since then, I've been working in a grocery store, thinking it would be temporary til things "got back to normal"... but they never did, and I think, never will. So I am definitely interested in creative opportunities!

My Site: http://www.norncutson.com/
My Shop: https://www.redbubble.com/people/norncutson/shop

And here are my four most recent pieces. I am ALWAYS working on something, I've got sketches going, WIP going, and dreaming up (sometimes literally!) new ideas all the time!

Follow me for more!
I'm always posting sketches, WIPs and digging through old files!

Thanks for reading!

My take on the cover art of Shakespears Sister's GOODBYE CRUEL WORLD.

A blue-tinted image. Two white women posing, one in profile, looking skyward, elegant; the other gazing directly at the viewer, creeping up in goblin mode.

Text, top right corner, thin pale blue handwritten scrawl: "Shakespears
Sister
goodbye
cruel
world
x".
My take on the cover art of Alice Coltrane’s JOURNEY IN SATCHIDANANDA.

On an orange gradient background, a cis black woman sits on bended knee, in a sage blue and metallic gold kurta. She looks deep in heavy thought. Her hair is in a tight afro, she wears a headband that matches her outfit. She wears wooden beads and a gold necklace. The tail of her robe is spread out before her.

Text in center top, pale yellow sans serif: "ALICE COLTRANE". Below, n yellow sans serif: "JOURNEY IN SATCHIDANANDA. Below, in thin pale yellow sans serif: “Featuring".

Below, in pale yellow sans serif; "PHAROAH SANDERS".
My take on Senorita Dido, of TWIN PEAKS: THE RETURN.

A black and white image of a pale, moon-faced Latin woman. She gazes directly at the viewer with large, calm, dark eyes. She has a beauty mark over her right lip.
She has a modest feather headdress, jeweled barrette, layers of necklaces, and a dress with a regal collar. The dress has sequined detailing over sheer fabric. We see her in head-and-shoulders-view against a black background.
My illustration of the band Lush!
The four band members, from left to right: Phil King, Emma Anderson, Mili Berenyi and Chris Acland.
Phil stands with hands on hips, looking serious, wearing a black outfit with white V-shaped stripes. Emma is holding her guitar and wearing long sleeve ivory and ivory stockings under a black jumper. A white headband holders her dark hair back, and her bands shield her eyes. Miki wirlds her guitar. Her flaming red hair stands out, as does her green t-shirt with red trim, polka dot sequined skirt, ripped black stockings and red shoes with gold buckles. Chis is wearing a comfy cozy ivory fisherman's sweater, as he pops out from behind Miki, smiling and laughing.
Behind them is a psychedelic swirl of colors, lights, patterns and textures.

DROPLET AMOEBA - Database Entry 💧 Bit of graphic design to give these pieces a proper framing. Most of my drawings and ideas share a connected world & background lore, so I thought I this way I could start with some world building. You know, for fun and stuff.

I'm looking for an # to commission for a project where the end product they create would become the basis for a # pattern. I've no idea how to find someone and I'm not a monster who thinks things should be free... Anyone got thoughts about how a not-rich-person finds, contracts with and compensates a commissioned artist so that everyone wins?

Hi, I'm Traci Van Wagoner and I illustrate and write children's books. I also illustrate board games and create fun characters. When I'm not writing, illustrating or playing games, you'll find me walking my dog or gardening on the roof nurturing nature in the city.
Oh yeah, I love dragons and seek out a little magic every day. Live, laugh, learn!

Top left is a girl in pink holding a teal dragon, top middle and right is a spread a picture book about mourning doves, middle left, a ballerina hippo bumping over a smaller girl ballerina, middle right; bottom left is a dragon and girl having tea, middle is a dancing bear in a forest with flowers around, and bottom right is a mermaid with a statue of a man in silhouette under water.

Alright, finally going to introduce myself around here:

I'm Lannan! I'm a # creator, #, #, #, #, and # dabbler! A lot of my work is inspired by the Weird, the Wacky, the Wondrous, and very occasionally, the sublime. (There's also fanart sometimes.)

I'm interested in #, #, #, and # with my traditional work.
A square painting: a black background with a thick, red, trifurcated squiggle winding down the middle, terminating with circles of red on the ends. At the very bottom is a thin, bright blue line.
A large landscape painting of red, desert mountains under a black sky with blue clouds and a thunderhead. Various bands of color section the painting into mountain section, cloud section, and abstract section, which is at the very bottom and features a wavy green design and an abstract representation of Tlaltecuhtli, the Earth monster in Mexica myth. Oil and hand-made casein paint on canvas.
A digitally colored illustration of the Mexica God Ehecatl riding on the back of a black, 8-legged deer with gold bands across its face that link it with Tezcatlipoca. Ehecatl is carrying a shield and an incense burner, with great plumes of smoke coming from it. Around him and the deer are stylized bones, skulls, flames, and stars.

@Curator Hello — I realize a proper introduction on here is useful.
My name is Rose Cat Khan. I’m a # # and # and I’ve been working for several game and toy companies that produce my illustrations as # (among other things…check my shop!)
I am also the author of a series named Centernia, so if you’re a lover of modern fantasy with dark undertones, this series is for you.
A Seahorse Haven. A tree blooms at the center of this colorful piece, with bright birds flitting around the vibrant sunrise. Below one can see just below the gently moving water, where seahorses frolic.
A mystical night. Many assorted colorful creatures prance about, all with their unique talents on full display. Among them, a humanoid rides an armored unicorn, enjoying the surroundings.
Magic Study in puzzle format. A beautifully clad girl sits and reads thoughtfully, neglecting to clean her cluttered room. Rainbow items adorn the floor and scatter across her bookshelf.
The first two books of the Centernia series. Return To the Castle shows the silhouette of a young girl looking up at a faraway castle. Mark of the Castle shows an intricately decorate mask, blue in tone.

I have been drawing my entire life. Since I was about 3 or 4. But like many from my generation, we were told you can’t make a living with art. So like many from my generation I sought an unfulfilling career to make money and pay bills. 2022 marks the beginning of my reclamation of MY LIFE MY WAY! #
