Here's a WIP for a project that didn't require a working gimbal but I made one anyway. I am amazed myself that it works. It consists of questionably thin rings and tiny nails... and lots of glue.

Spinning! $\o/$

No 3rd axis however because the current inner one already took 4 tries to print correctly.

And yes it's Astralaria from Guild Wars 2. :3

Hm, I made a video too, seems I can't mix them in a post. Oh well, followup has a video if you are curious.
