Keeping with the #GoblinWeek theme, Goblin Market is a 1860s illustrated narrative poem about two female friends (or maybe lovers!) tempted by fruit at a goblin market. It's public domain.

Here's the wiki page for the book: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goblin_Market - apparently still contested whether it's about sisterly love or "an expression of Rossetti's feminist and homosexual politics". :D

Either way, there are loads of lovely illustrations in it ^.^
