Squab-proofing the kitchen window.

For the past two years, juvenile pigeons have died flying into this window. I've tried those bird shaped stickers which are supposed to help, but they're not very visible, and didn't work.

After some internet research, I'm hoping white vertical stripes will do the trick.

This is automotive pinstripe tape, but maybe a paint pen would be easier to apply.

Edit: does this qualify as # ?

Foto; Hochformat; ein altes Treppenhaus; ein sehr großes altes Fenster (geht über zwei Stockwerke) mit Rundbogen und Holzrahmen; das Fenster ist mit schmalen und breiten Holzrahmen in viele kleinen Fenster aufgeteilt (da gibt es bestimmt einen Namen für, den ich aber nicht kenne); das untere Achtel (grobe Schätzung) ist mit buntem Glas gestaltet; in der Mitte vor dem Fenster und an den Seiten ist eine Holztreppe (Jungendstil); links und rechts an den Wänden hängt jeweils ein Schwarz/Weiß Foto; außerdem gibt es noch zwei gläserne Hängelampen in der oberen Mitte des Bildes; an den Wänden gibt es ein zweites Treppengeländer aus Holz;

Here's an offering for # #

Taken at Hilliers in Hampshire in 2005. I also have some closeups of the condensation on the windows.
A weathered window with white paint peeling to reveal blue paint underneath. The old window has condensation on the inside. The window is dappled with light.

an abandoned, run-down building at the ocean. center of the image are two sea-facing corner windows without widow panes, just old wooden frames in dark blue, over a weathered tile bar. washed-out white walls with dark blue and seafoam green details. an old doorframe without door. a grayish coastline in the background, with silhouettes of other old abandoned buildings

Open to any tip on how to focus when it’s dark on a 50+ year old analogue camera ~ :) # # #
Lady sitting in front of a desk with three windows right after, one is open, two more small desks next to hear, flower pots stand everywhere, scene is dark and outside is just black, blurry picture with warm light

Nearly forgot the Friday window! This is my friend Kate's kitchen window here in Ireland. There aren't any plants in the box on the terrace yet, because she's had a lot of work to do on the land and in the garden. I love that she always dries fruit on the stove or in the sun. So there's a lovely lemony orange smell in the old cottage.

A wooden window with a top and a bottom part in the typical Irish way. The walls around it are painted in a warm orange rosé colour. There's a row of plants and dried fruits in the middle from one side to the other. On the sill are some flowers, a wooden box, some tomatoes and a big kitchen clock. Outside is a natural garden with trees and a big light grey empty flower box on the terrace in the front

My cat resting by a window to the garden. Oil painting, 16x20.

This is the one time I painted Rainbow, our calico. As she enjoyed the sunlight at the window, I thought this would make a nice composition. It's one of my first oil paintings. I'm planning more cat paintings this year.

A calico cat on a blanket in front of a window. The window is to a garden and there is a reflection of the cat. Oil painting.

Maybe this should have been a Throwback Thursday or a Caturday. It's from the Italian Dolomites (those are the Tre Cime di Lavaredo) back in 2005. # # # #
