I finished testing my last cross stitch pattern, and I love how it came out! I wanted a spring design with vibrant colors and a lot of cuteness, so this picnic was born. I love that one chick's little butt 😭

Some process photos of my Snail Biker figurine. It's funny that you first have to make a skeleton before you can make a little guy. # # # # # #
A crude model motorcycle armature made with Wire and Milliput.
The model now has sculpey on top of it. It has a seat, a little engine and a snail shell for a front wheel.
Now has added snails on both wheels. And is joined by a wire and milliput skeleton sitting on the motorbike.
The character now has boots and a slightly fleshed out body.

After playing with different layout ideas, choosing one, drawing it out, erasing and redrawing bits, tweaking small details and directions (that nobody is likely to notice but were bugging me), then transferring over to the more expensive paper…

Started this in spring for the 20 years of # (1.3) # # # but then moneywork happened. So what better time to post it now on Inkscape's actual birthday, Nov. 6!
