I just noticed that I never put my paintings from the movement series on my website. I wonder if I should still do it...

I mean, I love them, I just didn't know how to price them back then. They are all 60cm x 80cm, acrylic on unstretched canvas.

What would be a price you'd expect for them?

Acrylic painting in strong colors, bright turquoise to fiery reds and oranges. In the center, there are two figures in yoga poses, blended so they look like negatives. It has a "filtered" and bright vibe. There are scratch marks all over the painting.

# is something I was working on earlier but I'm too knackered to do anything substantive the last few days so here is where it's at.

It's # on paper and vinyl LP, then digital torquing. # # #

See? I told you I like to incorporate spirals in my work. The exquisite, perfect spiral of a nautilus shell was the inspiration for "Composition Logarithmique," one of my geometric abstract works, with lush iridescent metallic hues. # for image descriptions.

Art. I have found blind drawing a great way to warm up. Even if all I do that day is a blind drawing. The images below are blind drawings in pencil and oil pastels.

A blind drawing is done when you focus on the subject and never look at the paper. You also do not lift your pencil/charcoal etc., off the page.

If you work in # it can be an excellent source for final work.

I'm freezing today and missing the hot and humid summer days with dark clouded skies showing that a storm is on the horizon

Abstract painting in shades of blue, pink and brown. In the centre is a dark blue part surrounded by pink above and brown below. The broad, strong and dynamic brushstrokes run in a diagonal direction from top left to bottom right. It is a hot, muggy summer day, heavy on the shoulders, and a storm is on the horizon

Violet is transformation. The fusion of the opposites red and blue represents the overcoming of a difficult time in life where you come out stronger. And also it's a royal colour.

I healed and transformed myself and found the lost queen inside me again 💜

# moment:

I'm adorapop, the anxious owner of a very specific skill-set / artist from London.

I paint traditional oil paintings of people from pop culture. I am compelled to do this most days.

Despite using hashtags since probably 2008, my use of them is appalling and I make no apologies for this. Here are some relevant/possibly irrelevant ones: # # # # #-ha # # #

Follow me please. I'm nice.

My art looks like this:

Today I'm performing my first-ever comissioned performance. It's snowing outside, thus it's much brighter than me and my team originally thought. Going to be super exciting.

We're going live in ~1h 20mins so wish me luck! ❄️ # # # # # # #

Ok. I see thanks for you work anyway.

But didn’t you also see this lack of # (especially #, but also visual modern # with an more abstract focus) in the Fediverse? I asked myself why this seams to be so hard to discover such content in the whole wide Fediverse…
