Still playing with the colors and doing monochromatic studies. This one separates really nicely when painting.
I also did some mixes too, to see how it reacts.

But honestly most fun was to paint this fun "hair" on the bird, which I painted without using white or masking fluid.
And I'm super happy how it turned out. Everything else comes just second.

in case you ever wondered what happens when raku gets rained on: spiderwebs! or constellations ...

against a background of grey-brown driftwood, a sitting raku ceramic kitsune fox sculpture. it's glazed in a bottom-to-top gradient of mauve to burnt orange to golden yellow, and its tail is curled around its body on the left (its right). it has a gentle, happy face. next to it on the left is a little cluster of green speedwell leaves and a pale indigo speedwell flower.<br />but the most notable thing about it is that the black raku crack lines in the glaze are punctuated by multiple small spiderweb-like markings where raindrops hit the vitrifying glaze and caused it it crack outwards from the impact.

In 2020 I started to build Dioramas. I started 4 of them and to this day haven't finished a single one.
BUT, about a week ago I decided to give up on this hobby and somehow that helped with hitting the finish line with the newest diorama, a book nook. The plan is to add cotton wool to cover the LEDs, to create a cloudy landscape and put a glass panel in front.
(The house has light too).

A wooden box a little taller and wider than a Ken Follett book. It shows a hill or mountain covered in autumn coloured iceland moss to simulate trees. The sides are plastered with mirror foil to create the illusion of width. Amidst the "trees" sits a little house with two chimneys, one producing smoke. At the ceiling of the box is an led strip, lighting up the scenery.

Official Deadpool movie poster art designed and illustrated by Diana Greenhalgh (with colours by Blond). Created for Twentieth Century Fox for the first Deadpool movie, it features a comic book style illustration of Deadpool sniffing the smoke from his gun barrels. In the background is a crashed black SUV on its side, with bullet holes, broken glass, and a body hanging over the doorframe. The far background is an easter egg: an out-of-focus shot of the highway overpass from the original leaked footage that helped get the movie greenlit.

Making a first model using the free SDF Prototyper (V2) add-on for Blender.

The add-on uses Geometry Nodes, and since the UI is a bit quirky, I find it easier to change parameters and connect nodes directly in Geo Nodes.
