carved a new piece last night & made some prints this morning

Mostly happy with the lighthouse, the waves & clouds were a lot of fun!
Not quite happy with how the kraft cardstock worked - too textured. But still kinda cool.
Gonna turn the big ones into notebooks

An info page about robots in the Apex Society Universe. Unfortunately there's too much text to fit in the word limit here. I'll have to summarize. <br /><br />First touches on artificial beings created through magic, like Golems and Hephaestus' handmaidens. Then there's the story of the mechanical soldiers that guarded holy relics of the Buddha. Then Yan Shi of 4th Century China who built a lifelike artificial man out of wood and leather. Then a mention of the automatons of the underground civilization the Vril-Ya. Then the clockwork woman Olimpia built by Dr. Coppelius. Then the word robot being coined by Rossum's Universal Robots. <br /><br />After that, there's the Freemechs - freed robot workers from Counter-Earth who set themselves up on the Counter-Earth moon of Kapek as a safe haven for mechanical lifeforms. <br /><br />Then the story of Robo Sol Incvictus, built in the 50s to battle the superhero Sol Invictus - but reprogrammed to act just like him. He was eventually relocated to Kapek.<br /><br />Finally, there's C.R.A.S.H. (Crimefighting Robot Army with Synthetic Hivemind), an army of robots resembling crash test dummies who share a single mind. They were built by Krackle Inc. but the program was downsized after one of the units broke away from the hive-mind and attempted to destroy humanity in the early 80s.

Questa torre fa parte di quelle che un tempo erano le mura del borgo antico di Genzano. Sullo sfondo a sinistra un angolo del palazzo Sforza Cesarini, la cui porta di ingresso era un tempo l'unico modo di accedere al borgo.
Mura e torre con il tempo sono state trasformate in abitazioni e cantine.
Rimane il fascino di questi luoghi.

In un giorno di sole, una pittoresca stradina di un borgo italiano sale tra edifici antichi. La scena è dominata da un'alta torre rotonda con piccole finestre e persiane verdi, affiancata da case con balconi e panni stesi. Il cielo azzurro con nuvole bianche fa da sfondo, mentre il verde rigoglioso di alberi e cespugli aggiunge vivacità. Un dipinto ad acquerello cattura la luce vivida e le texture dei muri in pietra, evocando l'atmosfera tranquilla e autentica di un luogo senza tempo.
