Here's a tree on a beach made for Curator Prompt 1-bit pixel art challenge! 🌳

1-bit pixel art of a large round tree on a beach. There is water in the background with a small island peeking over the horizon. The sky is full of clouds.

The tulip from the recent # # challenge. Made w/ #, which is still one of my favorite programs for 1-bit b/w drawings!

It has no layers but fixing up parts of the lineart became easy for me w/ some practice. The built-in patterns & how they map onto the screen resolution are convenient too! It's still a bit tricky trying to keep the lineart from getting too rough in places so there are spots missing pixels but I like working with this program!

A 1-bit black and white pixel drawing of a iridescent tulip against a dark background.

Yeah alright, I'm down for this #

I'm not normally a big # guy, but it was still fun simplifying a more complex photo!

A 1-bit (black and white) pixel art illustration of a lone round tree by the seashore
A round green tree in a bed of long grass on a beach, with a body of water and a blue cloud-spotted sky in the background

A # piece I did about two years ago. It was a fun challenge to try to capture the texture and details from my reference. Maybe I overdid it with the details, but I'm still quite fond of it.
I'll post newer work soon, promise. :)

A 1-bit pixelart piece showing a small path that leads towards some kind of fence with what appears to be windows behind it. The colors are a pale green and a very dark shade of blue. To the right is a brick wall overgrown with plants that reach down toward the path. Foliage covers the top of the picture, casting the path in shadow. The upper left of the picture is also filled with foliage, spilling forth from behind the metal fence below it. The path is littered with leaves and small sticks.
